If you are travelling through Sydney airport there is assistance for people with disabilities and can help with baggage, getting around the airport, and getting on and off the plane. Facilities and information are available at:

International and domestic airline and airport operators have been encouraged to develop Disability Access Facilitation Plans. These plans are used to promote the availability and accessibility of services for passengers with disability—ideally covering the total travel experience from making a reservation through to arriving at the intended destination.
