Our newly implemented History and Geography programs have replaced our HSIE programs from 2016.
As part of our history programs, students study their personal and family histories. We explore our similarities and differences and explore ways in which each family celebrates important family events. We explore family histories through artefacts and study changes in technologies over time.
We also use literature to study and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and find opportunities to embed this knowledge within all learning programs.
